The player who won the round then leads the next round. The winner of the round takes the played cards and places them face down in a discard pile. Resolve the round: The player who played the highest card of the trump suit, or the highest card of the lead suit if no trump was played, wins the round.Each player takes turns playing a card until all players have played a card. Start the round: The player to the left of the dealer goes first and plays a card.If they pass, the next player has the option to choose a trump suit or pass, and so on until a player chooses a trump suit. Declare trump suit: The player to the dealer's left chooses the trump suit, or can pass if they don't want to choose.
The top card of the pile is then turned over and placed face up next to the pile.
